Origin
The Scindapsus ‘Global Green’ is native to Southeast Asia and can be found in various tropical and subtropical regions. It belongs to the Araceae family and is also known as Epipremnum ‘Global Green’. In its natural habitat, the plant often grows in the shade of large trees and climbs up their trunks.
Characteristics
The Scindapsus ‘Global Green’ is characterized by its heart-shaped leaves that are bright green with light, almost silvery spots. The plant grows in hanging vines, which can be guided or attached to a moss pole to support the plant. It’s a fast grower that can reach up to 10 meters in length. This Scindapsus also has aerial roots which can climb or attach to materials.
Care
The Scindapsus ‘Global Green’ thrives best in a spot with bright and indirect light, although it can also adapt to lower light levels. Watering should be moderate; the soil can dry slightly between waterings, but it should never dry out completely. High humidity is favorable for the plant, so regular misting is recommended.
