Origin
The Sansevieria cylindrica ‘Spikes’ originates in West Africa. It is a species of succulent from the family Asparagaceae. The plant is primarily found in Angola, but it also grows in other arid regions of West Africa.
Characteristics
The Sansevieria cylindrica ‘Spikes’ is characterized by its unique shape: cylinder-shaped upright leaves that end in a sharp point. The leaves are generally dark green, marked with light stripes, and can reach a height of 1 meter. Care
The Sansevieria cylindrica ‘Spikes’ requires relatively little maintenance. As a succulent, the plant needs little water, especially during the winter months. Overwatering can be harmful and damage the roots of the plant. It is best to place the plant in a well-drained pot and in a spot with plenty of light, but not direct sunlight. Although the plant withstands some drought, it thrives best at a temperature between 15 and 23 degrees Celsius.
