Description
Origin : Native to tropical America (humid tropical climate). Much appreciated indoors for its beauty and reliability.
Characteristics : Climbing or shrubby habit depending on cultivar, shiny heart-shaped leaves. Indoor size: 0.8–2 m indoors.
Care : Medium to bright indirect light; let the top 2 cm dry out. Ideal temperature 18–26 °C. Average to high ambient humidity depending on the species; use a draining substrate (potting soil + perlite) and avoid stagnant water.
