Characteristics
Monstera obliqua is characterized by its remarkable leaves with unique hole patterns and elongated shapes. This plant is generally kept as a climbing or hanging plant due to its aerial roots. The shiny dark green leaves can reach up to 9 cm in length, and the plant can grow to a total length of about 3 meters.
Care
Monstera obliqua needs a warm and humid environment to thrive, similar to the climatic conditions of its region of origin. It needs indirect light, as too much direct sunlight can scorch the leaves. Regular watering is also essential, but overwatering can lead to root rot. This plant thrives best at a temperature between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius.
