The Fargesia jiuzhaigou is a species of bamboo known for its narrow, densely clustered stems that can reach a height of 3 meters. The stems start green and turn red over time, hence its nickname ‘red bamboo’. The plant’s leaves are narrow and pendulous, contributing to the elegant appearance of the Fargesia jiuzhaigou.
Care
The Fargesia jiuzhaigou requires a location in semi-shade or full sun and should be planted in well-drained soil.
