Characteristics
The Euphorbia tirucalli is a shrubby or tree-like cactus that can reach up to 6 meters in height. It is characterized by its bare, green branches that have a pencil-like shape, hence its nickname Pencil Cactus. This plant rarely blooms, but when it does, the flowers are small and yellow. The main trunk and side branches contain latex.
Care
Caring for the Euphorbia tirucalli is quite simple and requires little effort. The plant needs plenty of sunlight and thrives at room temperature. The plant also requires well-draining soil to prevent root rot. Although the plant can tolerate some drought, regular and moderate watering is essential for healthy growth.
