Description
Origin : Native to tropical and arid regions worldwide (xerophyte climate for many species). Highly appreciated indoors for its beauty and reliability.
Characteristics : Thorny succulent stems (depending on species), variable foliage, irritating latex. Indoor size: variable 30–150 cm.
Care : Sun to very bright light; little water; let dry between waterings. Ideal temperature 16–30°C. Ambient humidity medium to high depending on the species; use a draining substrate (potting soil + perlite) and avoid stagnant water.
