Description
Origin : Native to tropical and arid regions worldwide (xerophytic climate for many species). Highly valued indoors for its beauty and reliability.
Features : Succulent thorny stems (depending on species), variable foliage, irritating latex. Indoor size: variable 30–150 cm.
Care : Sun to very bright light; little water; dry between waterings. Ideal temperature 16–30 °C. Average to high ambient humidity depending on species; use a draining substrate (soil + perlite) and avoid stagnant water.
