Origin
The Dracaena marginata, also known as the Dragon Tree, originates from Madagascar and other islands in the Indian Ocean. Its presence has also been noted in various tropical and subtropical regions of the world, largely due to its popularity as a houseplant.
Characteristics
The Dracaena marginata is an evergreen shrub known for its long, slender stems with scissor-shaped leaves. The leaves typically have a rich green color, surrounded by thin red edges that enhance its refined appearance. The plant can reach up to 5 meters in height under ideal conditions, although it usually remains smaller indoors.
