Origin
The Dracaena marginata, also known as the Dragon Tree, originates from Madagascar and other islands in the Indian Ocean. Its presence has also been noted in various tropical and subtropical regions worldwide, largely due to its popularity as a houseplant.
Characteristics
The Dracaena marginata is an evergreen shrub known for its distinctive long, slender stems with sword-shaped leaves. The leaves typically have a rich green color, surrounded by thin red edges that add to its refined appearance. The plant can reach up to 5 meters in height under ideal conditions, although it generally remains smaller indoors.
Care
Care for the Dracaena marginata notably includes providing indirect light and limiting water. While it can withstand some drought, it is important not to overwater the plant.
