Characteristics
The Dracaena marginata is an evergreen shrub known for its distinct long, slender stems with scissor-shaped leaves. The leaves typically have a rich green color, surrounded by thin red edges that contribute to its refined appearance. The plant can reach up to 5 meters in height in ideal conditions, although it generally remains smaller indoors.
Care
Caring for Dracaena marginata involves providing indirect light and limiting water. While it can withstand some drought, it’s important not to overwater the plant. Under normal room conditions, the plant should be watered approximately once every two weeks. The ideal temperature for this plant is between 18 and 25 degrees Celsius.
