Characteristics
The Dracaena fragrans ‘Riki’ is an indoor air-purifying plant that stands out for its narrow leaves and tall growth. The ‘Riki’ leaves are glossy, dark green in color, and have a leathery texture. These leaves can reach up to 90 cm in length. The plant can reach a height of 6 meters, but generally remains smaller indoors. The ‘Riki’ plant rarely blooms, but when it does, it produces white flowers with a sweet fragrance.
Care
The Dracaena fragrans ‘Riki’ does not require a lot of light and should be placed in a shaded area in the home. Indeed, excessive sun exposure can damage the leaves. The plant requires regular watering, but the soil should dry out between waterings to prevent root rot. Although the ‘Riki’ is resistant to low air humidity, it is good to occasionally mist the plant with water to increase humidity around the plant.
