Origin
The Dracaena fragrans ‘Cintho’ originally comes from tropical Africa. The plant mainly originates from West Africa but has been spread to other parts of the world by humans. In many tropical and subtropical environments, the Dracaena fragrans ‘Cintho’ is now used as an ornamental plant.
Characteristics
The Dracaena fragrans ‘Cintho’ is characterized by its long upright stems and shiny leaves that grow at the top. The plant can reach up to 2 meters in height. The leaves are thick, green, and have yellow edges. It is rare but remarkable for the plant to bloom, producing fragrant yellow flowers.
Care
Caring for the Dracaena fragrans ‘Cintho’ is relatively simple. The plant requires only a little water, and overwatering should be avoided. The plant thrives in indirect light but can also survive in partial shade. The plant is tropical and therefore cannot withstand temperatures below 15°C. The plant has no special nutritional needs, and regular potting soil is sufficient.
