Characteristics
The Dracaena fragrans ‘Arturo’ is known for its lush green leaves that can measure up to 60 centimeters long. These leaves are glossy, oblong, and have a uniquely curved shape. The plant can reach a height of two meters indoors. When mature, the plant produces fragrant white flowers, although this is a rare phenomenon in domestic conditions.
Care
The Dracaena fragrans ‘Arturo’ requires little maintenance, making it an ideal plant for beginner gardeners. The plant needs a bright location, but direct sunlight should be avoided. The ideal ambient temperature is around 20 degrees Celsius. Watering is only necessary sporadically; the soil should almost completely dry out between waterings. Too much water can even be harmful to the plant and lead to root rot.
