The Dracaena fragrans ‘Arturo’ is a green indoor plant that originates from Africa. In its native country, this plant grows in various environments, from tropical forests to desert climates. Characteristics
The Dracaena fragrans ‘Arturo’ is known for its lush green leaves that can grow up to 60 centimeters long. These leaves are glossy, oblong, and have a unique curved shape. The plant can reach a height of two meters indoors. When mature, the plant produces fragrant white flowers, although this is a rare phenomenon in domestic conditions.
Maintenance
The Dracaena fragrans ‘Arturo’ requires little maintenance, making it an ideal plant for beginner gardeners. The plant needs a bright location, but direct sunlight should be avoided. The ideal ambient temperature is around 20 degrees Celsius. Watering is only needed sporadically; the soil should almost completely dry out between waterings. Too much water can even be harmful to the plant and lead to root rot.
