Characteristics
The Cortaderia selloana ‘Pumila’ is an impressive plant that can reach between 1.2 and 1.5 meters in height, but under ideal conditions, it can grow up to 3 meters. The plant’s leaves are sharp and have a blue-green color. The most striking feature of the plant is the rich silvery-white plumes that grow on long, sturdy stems. These plumes can be up to 60 cm long and often appear in late summer or early fall.
