Origin
The Cortaderia selloana ‘Mini Pampas’ originates from the vast South American continent. This plant species is native to the pampas of Argentina, Chile, and Brazil. As its name suggests, this variety is smaller than typical pampas.
Characteristics
This graceful plant is distinguished by its compact growth and full, fluffy plumes. The plumes of the Cortaderia selloana ‘Mini Pampas’ vary in color from light pink to white. The plant can reach a height of about 90 to 120 centimeters and has long, sharp leaves, which are often silver in color. Care
Although the Cortaderia selloana ‘Mini Pampas’ thrives in the harshest conditions, the plant still requires some care to thrive optimally. It prefers a sunny spot with well-drained soil.
