Native to the Pacific Islands, from eastern Malaysia to eastern Australia, the Codiaeum variegatum ‘Mrs. Iceton’ is a spectacular plant species. This plant, also known as Croton, mainly grows in open forests and shrublands.
Characteristics
The ‘Mrs. Iceton’ is a variegated variety of Codiaeum variegatum and is distinguished by its striking colors. The leaves, which grow alternately along the stem, display different shades of yellow, orange, and red, creating a colorful ensemble. The color of the leaves may vary depending on the light intensity. It is an evergreen shrub that can reach up to one and a half meters in height.

The Codiaeum variegatum ‘Mrs. Iceton’ requires certain care and attention for optimal growth. The plant prefers bright, indirect light and thrives in a humid environment. It is sensitive to significantly colder conditions, so a constant temperature between 16 and 27 degrees Celsius should be maintained.
