The Anthurium Livium, better known as the flamingo plant, originates from the tropical forests of Colombia. The plant is part of the Araceae family, a family that includes more than a thousand different species. This species of plants is mainly found in the tropical areas of South America.
Characteristics
The Anthurium Livium is best known for its spectacular colors and heart-shaped leaves. The plant displays a remarkable bloom with a colorful bract that can often be red, pink, purple, white, or green. The plant’s leaves are large, shiny, and a deep green color. Care
The Anthurium Livium prefers a warm, semi-shaded environment. Watering about once a week is generally sufficient, but it is important for the soil to dry well between waterings.
